The Rotations and Revolution Project (2026)
One Lost Tree's third project steps up the energy and production while going through every day life on our way around the sun.
This project features our new guitarist Bill Day, including his creative and production contributions. We also feature original OLT member bassist Tim Onorato singing on one track, and writing another.
Rotations and Revolutions also includes our first instrumental, our fist cover, our first live jam and our first redo of tunes often covered by the Campfire Crooners.
Kitties and Puppies
We have been working on this one for a few years and are so happy to bring it to you. Its a playful tune about kitties and puppies, but it has a much harder edge and other nuances predicting OLT's future direction.
Another band collaboration that started with jut one chord in mind, but morphed to many other notes and even a stompy tritone. The stompy 5/4 parts keep it tribal on the floor while the funk carries it on!
Faith
Left over from the Campfire Crooner days, Tim arranged this swanky minor reggaeish version of George Michael's hit song. Thus became one of our go-to jam base songs.

Happy
Written by Tim, collaborated by OLT. This instrumental sounds happy enough to let your mind wander to popcorn and coke, intermissions, commercial breaks, etc.
But deep in the middle of the song, we enter the happy-upside-down world and finally follow the same path home, to Happy. Don't go anywhere, though. You can follow multiple musical paths thru the under-times and ultimatly be ... happy.

Foggy Beach
This song was born at a session October 10th, 2024 dedicated to adlibbing new songs. Hopefully later there will be another song from this session.
Initially, we recorded this song at 11:30. After trimming it back and adding some tracks to fill in, we were able to preserve all of the drum and guitar tracks and most of the bass, keys and even my spontaneous vocals,
Yes indeed, we intentionally sought a Pink Floyd vibe. But this song was just a moment, just for fun. But we liked it too much to walk away. I hope you can catch us on a rare occasion playing this song live.

Goes Like This
This song was written about the here and now. The notion that music is important. Music is a journey. Music is community and God. I wrote this song with some high school friends = on guitar! So it is real easy to play!
I introduced this song to the Campfire Crooners, and we played it alot! I really enjoyed finally redoing this song with creative control. Song maturity over dozens of performances and some elements from Bill make this version a little different than the version recorded by the Crooners.
